DETERRENT

Deterrent fut un groupe de Death-metal fondé en 1989 à Jouy-aux-Arches par les futurs membres de Corpses et Cantar: Jerome Sommer et Christophe Remy. Ils enregistrent une première demo autoproduite en 1990, intitulée "Destroy it!", puis une seconde un an plus tard: "Other side of reality". Cette même année, en 1991, le groupe se sépare de son bassiste: Gilles Baus (ex-Beyond). Jerome Sommer passant du coup bassiste/vocaliste, la formation restante décide de reprendre à zéro en trio avec un nouveau nom: Corpses.
